The renovation of this Glebe terrace mainly involved the conversion of the roof attic space into a usable Study area, accessed via a new modern timber and steel stair. The spacious Study area has local and city views through new traditional dormer windows to the street front inkeeping with the style of the house and a zink clad contemporary dormer window to the rear. The new stair that connects to the original stair proved to be a construction challenge due to it’s height and confined space. With thought and attention to detail the challenges were overcome. The end result is stunning and the stair has become a main feature of the house.
